Work completed in 2018 —

Painting, Trimming
• Craig Shaw and family worked to rebuild the garage and complete some deferred maintenance.

 

Work completed in 2016 —
Painting
• Jeff Duncan and Kym Duncan and their crew painted the cabin. The famous high water storms of the winter took its toll on the old cabin.

Work completed in 2015 —
New Keys
• Ron Shaw and Brian installed a new lock for the cabin door. New keys exist for the front door, and the garage.

Work Completed 2013 —
The Awning
• Ron Shaw helped rebuild the awning over the front door of the cabin.

Work Completed 2012 —
The Wood Cook stove
• Craig rebuilt the wood cook stove in January 2012.
• The firebox can only open from the front square door. The tops no longer come off.
• The draft is strong and it no longer leaks smoke. The damper works still.
• The oven should have good heat in it again and can be used.

The Woodstove in the fireplace
• Craig did repair work on the woodstove in the fireplace too. Hopefully it works better now.

Work Completed 2010 —
• Kym and Chris Duncan opened up the cabin after the winter and fixed some broken water pipes.
• Ron Shaw and family replaced the steps and rebuilt the shower.
• Ron Shaw delivered a cord a wood.
• Extensive plumbing work and pipe replacement.
• Norm Shaw winterized the cabin.

Jimmy Shaw white-coats the cabin roof.

Work Completed 2009 —
• Howard had the tree trimmed over the woodshed.
• We had electrical issues that were addressed.
• Donna helped acquire a new refrigerator and stove.
• Sandi and Ric Twigg installed it.
• Jim and Norm Shaw worked on the stove chimney on the roof.
• Howard’s family painted the Cabin with primer and paint!
• Window putty applied and painted.
• Thompson waterseal on front porch.
• Rebuilt the overhang over the back steps.
• Howard and Craig rebuilt the water valve.
• Howard repacked kitchen and bathroom faucet.
• Craig installed the dock and left two kayaks.

2007 - 2008
• The water shut off was repaired and is working.
• Norm and Ron Shaw replaced the water heater in August 2008.
• Trees down and firewood (Craig Shaw, Sandi and Ric Twigg) October 2007.
• Snow coat roof (Ron Shaw and Leonard Shaw) October 2007.
• New toilet (Howard and Donna) July 2007.
